A4 Signed Art Print – “Preying on Her Innocence” by Mikayla Mary

“Preying on Her Innocence” is one of the first works in Mikayla Mary’s art as activism series, a powerful exploration of sexualised violence through expressive arts. In this piece, creativity becomes confrontation, as visual storytelling gives voice to what is too often silenced.

At the centre stands a fawn, alone in a meadow of wildflowers radiating innocence, curiosity and openness. Yet in the shadows, a pack of wolves lurk. Predators hidden in plain sight. The contrast is chilling: a tender creature unaware of the danger encroaching.

This imagery reflects the reality many survivors know all too well, moving through the world open-hearted, only to encounter harm. The wolves serve as a stark symbol of the societal structures that enable violence, where blame is so often misplaced on the vulnerable rather than the perpetrators.

“Preying on Her Innocence” is more than a painting it is protest, truth-telling and a call to collective reckoning. Mikayla invites us to bear witness, to sit with discomfort and to question: How do we respond when innocence is not protected, but preyed upon?

Each A4 print is professionally printed and hand-signed by Mikayla, offering not just a piece of art, but a visual act of resistance.
